Q: Can you hold a place before I apply?
A: No. An application, application fee, Property Hold Agreement and the security deposit are all required to place a property on hold.

Q: Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
A: No. The security deposit is the only money due until your lease start date.

Q: How old do you have to be to apply?
A: All applicants must be 18 years or older.

Q: Is the deposit refundable?
A: The security deposit is fully refundable. Pet deposits are half refundable, half non-refundable.

Q: You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
A: You can complete an application online or in person at our office. Every applicant must complete a PetScreening profile at
athomeproperties.petscreening.com to complete the application process.

Q: How do I pay rent?
A: You can pay online or in person at our office.

Q: I want to get a pet. What do I do?
A: Approval must be obtained from the property manager through
athomeproperties.petscreening.com. Once the pet is approved, you will be required to complete a Pet Agreement and pay the pet deposit prior to the pet being permitted on the property.

Q: I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
A: An addendum to the lease will need to be executed. Please speak with your property manager for details.

Q: My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
A: Please submit written notice, and provide your forwarding address, to your property manager.

Q: Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
A: Owners will pay for maintenance and repairs, unless it is due to tenant damage. Please refer to your lease for further details.
